Well what I was able to understand from the website is that the SAG awards are for specific actors or casts who gave a particularly superb performance.
Also it appears to me that the awards are also being given to some of the newer less famous actors and actresses.
Like Natalie Dyer who was nominated in 2018 for her role in the Netflix series Stranger Things.
The Christian Dior ball-gown she wore didn’t have any feathers on it, but the celestial-print skirt is so fitting for Stranger Things, that I just had to mention it.
