Detachable Feather Trim Jacket

I know that I have written about how you can easily add feather trim to jazz up just about anything, but the idea of a detachable feather trim is a new one.

I got the idea from this great jacket from ZARA.

Think about how easy it would be to attach feather fringe to a piece of material with buttons and be able just snap it on to your jacket, dress, or whatever.

Even better you can have a few different trims that can attach to the same dress and change it up every time.

Lipsy Feather Trim VIP Dress

I found this stunning dress on a website called ASOS.com, and it was out of stock.

Not that surprising being that it is amazing and was being sold for 33 BPS.

Lipsy, which is the company that makes the dress seems to be really cool. The reason I had never heard of them before is probably because they are British.

Funny that makes such a difference, but you know that it does.

Lipsy seems to be a super cool company. They have a whole section called DENIM DOLLS & BRINGING THE 90’s TO NOW.

Scarlet Johansson Feather Skirt

This past March, the American actress Scarlet Johansson showed up to the premier for her new movie “Ghost In The Shell” wearing a super cool feather skirt.

From what I read even the long custody battle that she is going through with her ex-husband didn’t stop her from being in good spirits.

This is no big surprise, Scarlet grew up dealing with difficult situations. She tells how her family was on welfare when she was a child.

If she was able to come from something like that and get to where she is today, she must have learnt to cope very well.

Ghost In The Shell seems to be a cool movie about a super cop in the future that needs to stop terrorist that have learnt to use mind control.

Right the feather skirt! Very cool, and I also love those boots.

Feathers For The Festivals – Summer 2017

 A while back I wrote about feather costumes at burning man, and that they had banned them because the feathers were just to hard to clean up afterwards.

Now is  that still the case? I have no idea.
