I always say the life and the world as a whole are going in
a circle. That something that is in style now was in style once before and will
be in style once again in the future.
It’s more of a spiral then just a circle because there is
always a change.
So feathers in fashion was, is and always will be.
Here are some pictures of feather fashion from the 1800`s.
This first one if from Wikipedia, it is from an article on
the feather boa.
They say it’s a picture of a woman wearing a feather boa
from 1892.
I really don’t see how you could tell it’s a feather boa from the picture.
Here is a plate from a monthly magazine in 1830 showing women’s
hats decorated with feathers.
The picture below is a pen and black ink graphite depiction from the late
1700`s of a woman in a hat decorated with large feathers.
