I thought I'd show you a few of my favorite
pieces, though there are enough to sit for hours looking through.
One of the most stunning feathered dresses I
saw was this one in Prabal Gurung's new spring collection.
Prabal Gurung has actually been making some
of the most popular feathered dresses lately. Everyone looks good in black, but
Demi Moore, pictured here on the red carpet, took that one step further when
she went for a head to toe look in this feathered masterpiece.
Feathered shawls, wraps, or shrugs are the
perfect way to liven up an otherwise plain and ordinary LBD, and have also
become all the rage lately. This grey one has a chic, sophisticated look that
adds an air of luxury to the entire ensemble, while still keeping it cool and
collected.
Another great way to make any outfit pop is
with a feathered purse in a bright, eye catching color. For more conserved
feather lovers, a purse can be the perfect finishing touch to any dress,
pantsuit, or even casual wear. This
purse, by Kate Spade, is made from actual ostrich feathers! I would love to
have one of these myself.
