A lot of times I will just go through Pinterest when I am looking for inspiration or new ideas. Ok, yes also when I am bored of working and want an excuse to just check out pictures on the internet.
But just recently I cam across a bunch of pins that were really great.
This detailed instruction post on how to make a stunning feather trim necklace really takes the stage.
Here is the link to the pin:

Danielle is a real DIY, home made blogger that’s been at it full force since 2011.
If you ask me though this project of hers is something that should be coming out of a designer school.
She did such a great job with this project I am amazed. Look at these detailed pictures explaining exactly how to do this.
Here is the link to the full site where you can find all of the instructions.

She did a great job using materials that she had around, but if you need to get some feathers for such a project, you know where to find us.

I know that I already wrote one about feather t-shirts, but this one is special.
Not only is the t-shirt itself stunning, but the company Browns, just seems so super cool.
So lets start off with this super cool shirt, and then we can talk about the great company that is selling it.
They say it will make you feel like a lemon, and if that’s not good then drink a tequila. Yeah that’s not really what said but its what I heard.
Never mind what they wrote, first take a look at the shirt.
But you should read what they wrote, because its cute and funny.

Also as I said they seem to be a super cool company just take a look at the about page.

I love it that they are really into looking for new talent.
Go Browns!

I know that I have written about how you can easily add feather trim to jazz up just about anything, but the idea of a detachable feather trim is a new one.
I got the idea from this great jacket from ZARA.
https://m.zara.com/il/en/-c434811p4226015.html#utm_referrer=https://www.google.co.il/
Think about how easy it would be to attach feather fringe to a piece of material with buttons and be able just snap it on to your jacket, dress, or whatever.
Even better you can have a few different trims that can attach to the same dress and change it up every time.
Take a look at all of our fine feather fringes and see what you can put together.

And of course if you do share some pictures with us on Facebook.

I found this stunning dress on a website called ASOS.com, and it was out of stock.
Not that surprising being that it is amazing and was being sold for 33 BPS.
Here is a link to the web site, you should take a look at the video to get a real feel for the dress.

Lipsy, which is the company that makes the dress seems to be really cool. The reason I had never heard of them before is probably because they are British.
Funny that makes such a difference, but you know that it does.
Lipsy seems to be a super cool company. They have a whole section called DENIM DOLLS & BRINGING THE 90’s TO NOW.
Any of you who have been following me for some time already know that I have a weird 90’s fetish.
And the denim? Remember this post

Anyway they also have a very nice feather high heal shoe that has already sparked my desire to write a new feather shoe post.
I hope you are all enjoying the summer!

This past March, the American actress Scarlet Johansson showed up to the premier for her new movie “Ghost In The Shell” wearing a super cool feather skirt.
From what I read even the long custody battle that she is going through with her ex-husband didn’t stop her from being in good spirits.
This is no big surprise, Scarlet grew up dealing with difficult situations. She tells how her family was on welfare when she was a child.
If she was able to come from something like that and get to where she is today, she must have learnt to cope very well.
Ghost In The Shell seems to be a cool movie about a super cop in the future that needs to stop terrorist that have learnt to use mind control.
Right the feather skirt! Very cool, and I also love those boots.

A while back I wrote about feather costumes at burning man, and that they had banned them because the feathers were just to hard to clean up afterwards.
Now is that still the case? I have no idea.
But hey burning man is not the only festival that you can rock some killer feather threads, so have a look at some of these great ideas for your next rainbow gathering, or whatever you are into.
Now for starters here is this great headpiece. It could of come strait out of the Lord Of The Rings movies.
It must be real gold because its being sold for almost 300 dollars.

Then I found this cape, I didn’t check how much its being sold for but here the link.

Cool right?
And here are just a few more feather festival pictures to inspire you.
Remember that you can get all the feathers you need to make your next festival a feather dream come true from featherstore.com.
Oh right and how can I not add this crazy picture of the lady with a feather head piece and the boa constrictor.

Of cause I have already written about pheasant feather dresses, but because they are just amazing I am going to write about them again.
Also I am pretty sure that it has been a few years since I wrote about them, and I definitely didn’t have these great pictures.
I split these into three separate categories in my mind. One for each dress.
The wild
The theater
The runway
In the wild, like in this dress things grow large, and have beautiful colors.
Pheasant feathers seem to go great in all scenarios, but the wild natural setting is was seems to fit them best.
Now the wild needs to be tamed for us people. True that not allways is this the case, many times the wild goes very well on the runway.
But as far as this dress here goes, the wild has been given very straight edges and an office executive type feel. Yes but still its very wild.
And then we have the theater stage, which seems to be the combination of the two.
This pheasant feather dress has a very elegant vibe to it. It gives off a feel of the middle ages.
It could also be the gown worn by the queen of some mystical people.
Peace and love to all.
