Demetrios Feather Dresses - Spring 2019

New York 2019 Runway Show

These beautiful dresses that are created by the Demetrios bridal wear company have a story to match.

Demetrios James Elias came over to the United States from Athens with his family when he was a small boy.

He grew up working in the family owned bridal store in Warren, Ohio. Demetrios developed a love for the bridal industry while he was a small child and eventually was successful in turning the small family business into a international label for high class bridal wear.

Demetrios dresses have brought the feather fashion into the special day of holy matrimony for many brides.

These two dresses on top are just an example of the stunning feather dresses that they have created.

Of course not everyone can afford such elegance so for those of you who would be more interested in creating your own feather dress here is a clip from a video by Classic Royalty on Youtube.

More Feather Fashion Trends For Spring 2019

GUCCIE

I don't know how you are feeling but I am way ready for the summer, ok at least let's have the spring. But for some reason it is still so cold and wet outside, where is the sun-shine and the flowers?

MARC JACOBS

OSCAR DE LA RENTA

Yeah I know they are about to be out in full bloom, but I think that I might just suffer from the worst case of winter depression before they get here.

LOEWE

So if you are feeling anything like I am maybe these cool spring fashion designs will help to brighten up your day, or at least take your mind off the cold for a split second.

RICHARD QUINN

Here are a bunch of spring feather fashion designs that I found on the  web site.

They gave the different styles names like “All Dolled Up” and “Down To Earth”, so what did they call the feather fashion part?

What Went On At The Oscars 2019 and Who Wore Feathers

What really are the Oscars anyway?

This year was the 91st Academy Awards Ceremony, better known as the Oscars. The name Oscar is really just the name of the statue that is given out. Why is it called an Oscar? There is no final answer but here is the one I like best.

Bette Davis claims that she coined the name because the back side of the statue reminded her of her husband when he got out of the shower in the morning.

There was a lot of drama leading up to this year's Oscars.

I could not wrap my head around the whole story, but I could give you some of the high lights.

First time in three decades that there was no host.

Kevin Hart was supposed to host but because of some homophobic comments he made back in 2011 he declined.

People are also less interested in watching live broadcast television these days so the ratings are down and they tried some new ideas to cut costs.

So who wore feathers to the Oscars?

Cicely Tyson was the first colored woman to receive the Academy's Honorary Oscar this year. She showed up to the party in a B Michael Couture feather dress.

Chrissy Teigen also wore feathers to the 2019 Oscars. She can be seen teasing John Legend on the red carpet. Chrissy`s Thai and Norwegian genes are a stunning blend.

Lupita Nyong`o the Kenyan-Mexican actress also came to the Oscars decked out in feathers.

Her picture is the one at the top.

Did I miss anyone?
